Director Tawashi took over as the Ministry of Science's Director after the unfortunate disappearance of Dr. Yamanoue. Director Tawashi displays a distaste for Mars' personality but admiration for Mars' power and abilities. After having his hand forced into signing ownership of Mars away from the Ministry of Science to Dr. Kawashimo, Director Tawashi commissions Mars to take care of certain important missions, keeping in close contact with Dr. Kawashimo.
